Day 25- Time Management

Technically speaking you CANNOT manage time because you have NO control over it!

Everyone gets the same 24 hours a day.

You can only manage your USE of time.

Therefore, when people talk about Time Management they are actually referring to Self-Management i.e. how YOU manage your use of time!

And the your use of time is influenced by your personal habits and practices.

There is no perfect system of time management that works, unless you work it!

The best approach to manage the use of your time is to manage your personal habits and practices.

You must balance the use of time in all aspects of your life be it family relationships, career/employment, your Internet business, your social life, your spiritual pursuits, your health, your emotional needs, your self-development, your entertainment, your hobbies or past-times etc.

Focusing on just managing your daily activities helps you to complete your tasks. To strike a good balance, you must have dreams and goals to guide you prioritize your actions.

"What are your goals?'

Your goals are simply the things you really want and are willing to work for!

Are they specific? Are they attainable? Are they authentic?

Food for Thought

"No wind is the right wind for the sailor who knows not which port he is going."

- Seneca, the Greek philosopher.

Good time management is knowing  that TODAY is all we ever have to work with.
The past is irretrievably gone and the future is only a concept.

Our favorite quotation is:

YESTERDAY is a cancelled check. Forget it.
TOMORROW is a promissory note. Don't count on it.
TODAY is ready cash. Use it!

- Anonymous philosopher.
